I am excited to share my collection of figurative art that captures a part of a story or a fraction of a moment. I am attracted to portraying the connection between my subjects by their positioning and body language. I intentionally leave the whole story off the canvas allowing the viewer to put the painting within their own references and experiences.

My name is Judi Cook
At the age of 55 I am fully embracing that I am an artist! I have always been creative and studied art for a short period in university; however, I didn't feel like a had much to say at that time. I became a professional, had a family, started a second career but always found myself seeking creative outlets. At the start of covid, I started painting and haven't stopped. After experiencing a full life, I now know what I want my art to relate and it comes down to the basics of connection of family, friends and a sense of community.
